Scrolling-Screenshot erstellen

Scrolling-Screenshot erstellen erklart einen praktischen ShareX-Workflow rund um scrolling, web page, long image.

Overview

Scrolling capture lets you screenshot an entire webpage, document, or list that extends beyond the visible screen area. ShareX automatically scrolls and stitches multiple captures into a single long image.

How to Capture a Scrolling Screenshot

  1. Open the content you want to capture (webpage, PDF, chat window, etc.)
  2. Right-click the ShareX tray icon
  3. Navigate to Capture > Scrolling capture
  4. Click on the window you want to capture
  5. ShareX will begin scrolling and capturing automatically
  6. Wait for the process to complete — the result appears in the image editor

Alternative Method

  1. Open ShareX main window
  2. Click Capture > Scrolling capture
  3. Select the target window
  4. Choose scrolling direction and settings
  5. Start the capture

Configuring Scrolling Behavior

Go to Task Settings > Scrolling Capture to adjust:

  • Scroll method: Automatic (recommended) or manual control
  • Scroll delay: Time between each scroll step (lower = faster)
  • Overlap: How much the captures overlap for stitching
  • Maximum scroll count: Limit the total number of scrolls
  • Trim bottom: Remove any unwanted footer from the result

Tips for Perfect Results

  • Switch the target window to fullscreen or maximize it
  • Wait for the page to fully load before starting
  • Disable smooth scrolling in your browser for better results
  • For very long pages, increase the maximum scroll count
  • Review the result in the image editor to trim any unwanted areas

Troubleshooting

Capture stops too early: Increase the maximum scroll count in settings.

Duplicate or missing content: Adjust the overlap percentage.

Window not detected: Some applications don't support standard scrolling. Try using region capture and manual scrolling instead.

Uneven stitching: Reduce scroll speed and increase the delay between captures.
